Guys this is the first I'm hearing of any complaints about the Truck Stick or the Hit Stick ... it's just like the Cone Off or On ... we hate to take away innovations from the game but I guess we'll have to study it ...
PS I swear I want Super Tecmo Bowl to come out for the PS2/PS3 ... Give me a fun game of chance any day

Can someone explain how lowering your shoulder with the RB is cheese? And what about unloading on someone when they're trying to catch a pass? Doesn't this happen in every game of the NFL? Nobody catches the ball 90% of the time when they get unloaded on anyhow. Also, anybody see the Giants game last week with KC? Tiki Barber had a very nice TD run. How many missed tackles were their on that play? I remember atleast 4. People complain about truck stick, jukes, and hit stick because either they don't take the time to learn how to use them or .....well that's about it.

BS........Do it without the flicking your little stick and that's fine. Can you? Can you knock that damn pass loose from the WR with that little Db without flicking that little stick? Can you? If so, that's fine. Man against man. You need some help from the cheese stick to accomplish such feats? Well, here's your sign! ;D

P.S. Juke and studda is freaking cheese, no matter how you slice it. that's why we have a glitch rule in place in the league. Or didn't you know that?

Give me a fun game of chance any day PFeels, you and I just had a game and I don't remember wither of on purpose using that little hit stick thingy, or for that matter, the little truck stick thingy. Which I thought was refreshing for a change after........never mind. Neither of us gained a lot of offense, but is that all there is to the game anymore, 200 freaking yards a game, truck-sticking every offensive play, jukey here, jukey there, twirly-bird here, twirly bird there every freaking play play. Is that what we are coming to in this league. Just because the dufoses in Orlando put it in the game, don't mean we have to use it. If I wanted to do that, I would go play the Madden arcade version or hang out in the east room. I don't even like the vision on . That gives the defense a head start. Bet the defense won't be able to see it next year. Anyway, I enjoyed our game, PFeels. I always like it when you let me win.

OH YA !!!
I let ya ... lol ... some games I'm in and some I'm out early ... lol, it depends on early INT's, when i can't throw I'm sunk ...
I just wish Madden didn't have so many options and it was a simple easy to use football sim ... the first Madden game (of which I still have) you had a play book with 83 plays and you just called the plays and watched, I actually liked it because I was trying to outsmart my opponent with my play calling and felt like a coach ... I hear EA is going to revisited a coach sim next year, that may be the game for me ... seriously

I don't have to use the truck stick or hit stick to play. I'm just saying that RB's in the NFL lower their shoulder to plow people just like the good safeties will measure someone up for a big hit. As far as big hitting with a CB, why would you? 8 out of 10 times you're going to get your ass trucked. Makes no sense. Make the tackle. Now if its a safety its a risk reward factor. If you time it wrong and miss (as the old Cards owner did in our game) your opponent has a good chance at big time runs. Why do you think I'm able to run so effectively? It's from people getting overzealous with the hit stick. If any of you want to play a game with no truck or hit sticks lets roll. I'm always up for games. AIM is DepJr9.

The thing I see a lot of is everytime the pass is thrown the other person highlights the defensive guy in a milisecond and does the hitstick. It gets a little out of hand. I don't mind the use of the stuff, but overabuse is where I hate to play.

I never saw Seattle overabuse the truck stick in our 2 matchups. I was able to hold him to under 50 yards rushing in one of the games I believe. I do understand though, I've been in games where the runningback can just demolish my LB and SS with multiple truck sticks, Portis is good at that. But that's been mainly in online lobby games (the few I play anymore). It is a real part of football but is a big advantage to someone who has really perfected it and uses it on everyplay. How do you stop it? I guess be able to control your LB and use a hitstick to counter his truck stick.

I see no problem with the hitstick or truck stick. What are we suppose to do, run right into a tackle? In terms of using the hit stick on every pass play, yes its annoying, but I do not see anything wrong with that, not one bit. It always seems that every year people find a way to complain about something. No one will ever be happy.

When I switch to a different player I get one already on the ground or 10 yards down the field ;D

Yep! If you can't beat them man on man (without the cheese sticks), you call in the Tiburon boys in Orlando and they will help you out. Afterall, they are the arcade cheese sticks of the east room. Without them, EA would have died long ago. God rest their competitors.

I don't recall you using much of the "sticks" in our game, which is a good thing. But maybe you have learned a few moves since then. Whatever. But I wish you good luck with the Saints and Benglas. However, from my experience, I will say that you will have a far better view of the "sticks" forthwith. I am rooting for you. When or if you win, please let all of us know what you did to accomplish it. Seriously. And please, , read between the lines above.

I wasnt adressing you PTR. I see the fustration, it just seems ever year there is another complaint, well deserved but not much we can do. I personally only use the hit stick when I am running at someone, Im not quick enough to switch to the defender and press the hit stick right after they catch the ball, I cant handle that.
