Just hoping to bring this to shanks review for further season on SAPML play.
There is a play action abuse glitch w/ AI and CB's in this Madden...
Id like to see a rule thought of or discussed in the future about this....Just food for thought.

As always the Rules Committee will discuss any possible changes for next years Madden. Being that the season is more than halfway completed, I would doubt any major changes will be made at this time. But should the committee suggest as such, it will considered.

How about a review on PA abuse for 2007? There are usually 2-3 players in any Madden league who turn out to play better than they should due to 3-5 PA bombs each game that allow them to have winning records. These 3-5 completed PA bombs result usually in 14-21 points - which is more than some other teams average.
What about limiting PA in such a way as to allow just 1 completed PA bomb in a game? No more than that. Try until you get it and then that's it. In real NFL, no teams complete 3-5 PA bombs per game, and no way should this abuse of the AI result in some guys beating others due to 3-4 long plays in a game. Just a thought.

chuck I understand your point but I think the PA is one rule you cant control, the people have to use it accordingly.
Unfortunelly people do abuse it, but we are all hoping the all madden will help the defense ai to react better.

all maddden wont help I play in leagues that use all madden and it still works case in point I was playing a guy in another league I was in qtr 3 deep and put all my cb in coverage he ran play action not only did he run past the cb but both safteys too for the td. I was also on a blitz so it is a glitch and needs to be addressed.

Dang, i thought A-M would help control that sh!t. Well anyway, 1 long PA pass completed per game should be enough. When someone does it 3-5 times a game and happens to squeak out a win due to that, it's distressing.
What's worse than outplaying some guy who decides to call a PA with a QB who has the arm to to get it to a fast WR? All they have to do is call the play and lob it up, complete 3-5 per game, and beat another guy who outplayed them for the other 70 plays in that game.
How lame.
It'd be one thing if we saw this in the NFL all the time (3-5 completed PA bombs per game) but we don't. It's taking advantage of poor AI. And it also forces defenses to limit their defensive playcalls to about 3-5 total in order to compensate for those 3-5 bombs that could result in at least 21 points per game.
It'd be nice to call zone and not have to worry about a PA bomb each time you call it.
