Here's the latest cheesy thing I've seen in another league. <cough> INFL <cough> By one of their commishes no less...
He uses the Ravens... Well in the first half he played straight... But since I was up 10 - 0 guess he took offense.
So during the second half on his running plays immediately after Lewis would get the ball he would spin to the right or left...
This seemed to have an effect to get him outside of the tackles quicker and for some reason defenders would just bounce off him no matter what.
I thought it was pretty cheesy... but from the looks of it that whole league is gonna be cheesy.

I have never seen that nor tried it. Sounds weird and stupid, who would ever think of spinning 3 yards deep in the backfield after you receive a handoff?

well it confuses the poopystick out of the defenders and the running back gets outside and gains lots of yards

Yup... It's pretty gay... I would consider it a semi-glitch.

Ahhhhhh, could you go over that slowly, not that I would use it being 0-3 but you know, it's for research ... lol

Okay, The Opponent Hands It Off To His Runningback and depending which side the ball is going he does a spin move to that side immediately which forces the Corners and OLB's to be sucked in and the Runningback is capable for a TD or Big Yardage.......

It will be the P FEELS Rule ... If you can't win playing by the rules then cheat you a$$ off ... sounds good to me

O... And by the way... I quit that league today... Found out the loser that did that to me is a commish for their league... Plus the owner is a bit of an arrogant person.

Lol, so spinning in the backfield is now a glitch. Oh, brother. I actually had it done to me last night and yes it does work, but I never thought of it being a glitch.
I actually did it after Madden came out cause of the great defenses out there that can shed blocks like no other and hit you in the backfield. I wouldn't say it's a glitch though cause you have to time it right or you can lose yards and you can't really do it everytime. Unless the same defense is being called with no adjustments.

I have seen this as well online, but when players started doing it every down I would just send my LB blitzing outside of the tackles and he would go no where but backwards. The only bad part is if he decided to not do it that play you called it, he could have run up the middle for a big game, but once the cheat, it is hard for them to change their ways. Blitzing a corner to whichever side you think he is running from is effective as well. "The Spin" seems to work more effectively when I ran man coverage, but this could just be coincidence.
I really see it when you play the "Running Attack" game, but with the massive amount of "back cutting" that goes on, I have not played in a while. That is where I firstly saw it.
Sincerely, Trick Silo
