I have seen what VG posted on that specific move and IMO don't see it as a glitch. Maybe because when I do it I don't "freeze" the whole defense. I only juke one guy and then the rest of the D usually gets me. In the upgrading of the D and how fast they are to the ball, I think this move should be allowed. Now if it does cause the whole D to freeze then we have a problem. I was playin the Chargers owner and did it to him as we were talking and he said that what I did was ok. But he had someone(not in our league) and it froze his whole D. So, we can say we can't leave it up in the air, but if someone is abusing it then report them to a commish and more an likely they will do it again to another owner. Then that owner reports it and then we can see we have someone that is abusing the glitch. My 2 cents.

This is a glitch if you do it right. You can make the whole defense bite. BUT, if you manually tackle the dude, you don't have to worry about it. I don't think it should be outlawed, because if you outlaw juking, you need to outlaw spins, playmakering blockers, and any other feature in the game that gives someone an advantage if they know how to use it.
I'm all for sim, but sometimes rules get a little out of hand. You can't limit one thing then leave other things that are just as effective out of the rules.
A good example is "nano" blitzes. Personally, I think that there are nanos, but they require you to audible down and move players around, which both are against league rules. Then, there are BLITZES, where you call a play and you get a decent amount of heat using either line and LB shifts or defensive playmakers. A "nano," to me, is virtually unstoppable. A blitz has holes. I run one particular blitz when I need to generate some heat, but I know good and well that there are PLENTY of holes in my blitzes. I can count equally the number of sacks and the number of big gains I have been burned on by this blitz.
Point is, a TRUE nano generates heat and leaves no real holes in the defense. A blitz leaves holes and can be beaten. I've played people who have blitzed me nonstop using shifts and bump n run and have gotten killed, but I know there are holes. The issue then becomes executing.

It's the pause (pulling back on the stick) before the juke that makes the difference. The juke by itself. That slight pause will sometimes make the defensive player stop (freeze) and change the direction of pursuit, and that coupled with the juke move takes the defense out of the play. It's still an AI thing. VG goes with the theory that if there is a counter to the move, then it is not a glitch because you can also control your D guy manually and tackle the ball carrier. I don't completely buy into VG's glitch theory completly. ;D

Both Hackett and I have come to that conclusion... EA has put the ball in the defenses hands so much that cheese is the only way to stay competitive in a game... It's sad really...

I think the only time this becomes a true no buts about it glitch is when they stop before they do the juke, the studda step itself is a part of football as annoying or "unreal" as you might find it.
