*RULE VII
(A) MOVING DEFENSIVE PLAYERS: Can only move one player manually on defense before snap, and must remain that player playing that position until the ball is snapped. LBs and down linemen cannot be manually moved. However, on punt returns and FGs, you can move any one player, either a LB or DB, a maximum of 10 yards off the line of scrimmage just in case of fake punts or fake FGs.
AGAIN, YOU CANNOT MOVE ANY DOWN LINEMAN or LB MANUALLY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!
What does this last statement mean? Is that before or after the snap or both or what? ;D I think we need some clarification.

Heres the clarification...to limit the abuse of moving a LB or Lineman into a position for a Nano blitz...this rule was modified to state that you cannot manually move a LB or Lman before the snap. After the snap you can do whatever you want. You can move a DB manually, but you must remain that player until the ball is snapped. Then after the snap you can switch to a different player.
