I've recently feel in love with deep outs, 10-15 yds down field vs Man coverage.
Problem is they could look exactly like corner routes for some reason (either throwing early, or off back foot, or leading a wr)
How shall this be handled....
I have no problem counting an out that looks like a corner as 1 of my 10, but not sure what others think

I agree I have just lately fallen in love with the outs. there alot easier to cover though so would we have to consider them as corners?
Dazed.

Mix it up, outs corners, they are different routes IMO. If your playing the game str8 and mixing it up fairly well it shouldnt be an issue.

Yeah, you really tell the difference in an out and a corner. corner will slant in where the out will break clean at a 90 degree. Unless either one gets tangled up. ;D
Also, Commish, a RB coming straight out of the backfield from behind center, then slanting toward the sideline, basically the flats, that is not a corner, correct? I mean, he has to battle through the line, and then, if the play went to the right side from the left hash mark or even still toward the middle of the field, that in effect would be a post pattern. Of course, if he lined up on LOS and went downfield and did a 45 to the sideline then that, of course, would be a corner. Right?
