Okay saw some responses to the corner route discusion and noticed someone said use the man lock "on" or "off". I just noticed this option while picking your defense plays. What does this do. What does man lock "on" do when you call zone vs. man, what does man lock "OFF" do when your in zone or man. Also when in your playcalling when you press L1 or R1 to turn the man lock on or off how do you know if its on or not. I looked or glanced through the instruction booklet and looked through the tutorials couldnt find anything, but didnt have much time to look. If anyone can explain this to me, I would greatlly appreciate it. Thanks. Anthony

man lock on will mean the defender stays with his man in man coverage if motion is called and also shows man coverage, if man lock is off its man coverage but defenders do not follow offensive players in motion and it looks like zone to the defense

I use this often. If someone comes out in 3 WR formation and you call nickle man with man lock off then your nickle back does not line up on the slot WR. It gives the look of zone. What I do then is double up the slot WR because a LB can't hang with him.
Also if someone comes out in a 2 WR set twins then your CB's line up on both sides of the field and it looks like a zone coverage. You LB again will have the coverage on the slot WR. I double him up with the saftey and it works most of the time.
One more thing if some on comes out in 4 WR set and you play a dime with man lock off the DB's don't line up in front of the WR and most think it is a zone.
It took me along time to figure this out but you can really give the offense some big time trouble if you use it right. PRACTICE MODE will help.
Dazed.

Thanks Daze. This does help, so if I understand this right if i come out in a zone coverage and have man lock ON it will line my DBs up over the wr making it look like a man coverage? Or is this only used to make it look like a zone coverage when really its a man coverage. Sounds confusing but I guess its time to lab this. It could only help. I apprecate all your input. thanks Anthony
