I am having a very hard time passing the ball lately. Almost all of my opponents are spreading and looping the line to get pressure.
Here are the things I have done to try and counter this weak maneuver to no avail.
1. RB1 draw running plays. This is fairly successful but for only a max. of 8yards.
2. O-Line audible to spread the blockers. This seems to work for an instant, then one of the looped linemen break their block and sack the QB.
3. Short or underneath routes by RB1/2 and TE 1/2. Again, minimal gains and a real boring offensive game plan.
I need help. When I play someone who doesn't do this. I can pass and have a chance to win. If they do it, I am done 'nuff said.

RULE VIII
MOVING DEFENSIVE PLAYERS: You can move only one player, a LB, CB, or Safety manually on defense before the snap and you must remain that player playing that position until the ball is snapped. Down linemen cannot be manually moved under any circumstance. Linespread/Looping: Although allowing this tactic through the past season, the committee decided to ban it again due to forseeable abuse issues. You can shift the Dline to the right or left or pinch it, but you cannot spread the line.

Doing the loop/spread line tactic is a no-no and has been for quite a few seasons.

So far no coach has tried this in a league game. I need help for another league that allows it, and it's killing me!

this works for me: instead of speading o-line you must pinch the o-line and then leave a back in to block. This will allow block not to get beat around the ends, instead they'll wait for those ends to come off their loop and then block them. works like clocks works but if ur a playa that has to roll it probably wont b that effective but this tactic sets up a nice little pocket for the QB and you wanna step into ur throws! I just started using this tactic cause one of my buddies give it to me but before I still wasnt having major trouble with D-line loopin. That loopin is really effective against playas with shak'e feet in the pocket
