Just from playing a few online games here and there, I see the QB sneak being crazily abused this year. I had some guy do the QB sneak every 3rd down, and it's almost impossible to stop.
What do you guys think? It almost guarantees a short 3rd or 4th down conversion.
Perhaps we could look at a rule limiting its use to say once a game or once a half? Just a suggestion, what do you all think?

Have to agree completely with jtothed. I read about this in a couple of reviews before I played the game, and after seeing it in action it has definitely been verified.
I'm sure Shanks will take a look at it.

seems to be a hard rule to enforce. Might just be a judgement on how someone abuses it.
Is this just running right up the middle or scrambling to one side or the other?

I haven't tested it out much yet but it looks like there tends to be a gaping hole right in front of the center or guard that you can explode through with the QB for an easy 3-5 yards. However, I have read on another sports forum that it can be stopped if you commit a few blitzers to that gap and pinch the D-line in. Of course then you will be susceptible to an outside pitch.
Maybe a rule limiting use of the sneak to only 3rd/4th and inches?

I'll have to try that blitzing thing next time. I'm hoping to be very active and this is definately something that has been happening against me a lot, and up until now I couldn't figure out how to stop it!
I've used it twice (3rd and goal situations on the 1) and got in the endzone both times with no problems - just by running up and to the left there is a huge gaping hole both times.

It seems to get a few yards most of the time....but most QB's are pretty fumble prone.
If you hit stick one, he will normally cough it up, I've even injured someone's QB since they were doing this on 3rd and short.
Was quite funny
I'd say its ok as long as its not abused, but no matter either way...

i could stop it with puntblock zone the d line will penetrate the middle, and the people in zone will effectively cover the pass but i dont recommend it if they have speedy receivers
