Ive been playing on all pro up to this point...it seems to be better than All pro the last 2 seasons which were too easy IMO on offense...which is why we were all madden those seasons.
Any thoughts on what level you guys think is best for the league.

I'd agree with you, All pro is much better than it used to be.
I've been playing on all madden level, and running the ball is pretty tough. The game ranks me at all madden level on rushing offense, so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, rather most runs are 2-3 yards, which is realistic for a 60 minute game....just too bad i'm playing 24.
I wouldn't expect stats to be right on all madden at all... 500 yards for an RB is the new 1000 yard benchmark hehe...6 minute quarters just aren't enough to have a gg running the ball, considering a 3-4 yard average is the best you could hope for. The AI on all madden really swarms the ball well.
But hey, either way is fine by me ;p
If I had to pick, I'd say All-pro. Playing all madden at this point would only encourage people to not switch over to user control...which isn't helping the league or its owners.
I'll need my all madden experience to compete with you vets, was too stubborn to switch it back to all pro really....There were points that i wanted to throw my controller into my TV...but now i can make it a good game. I'm 6-4 with the saints after a rough start ;p
totally off-topic here, a quick question. I want to make a trade with another owner...how would i go about this before the season starts?
thanks commish, sorry to bother ya again lol

Thanks for the response. Im with you on the rough start ...6-10...but getting better. It doesnt help that im using the phins.
As far as trades go, i havent explored the option of playing unranked games with modified rosters...has anyone been able to confirm if we can do this?

I don't think we can use modified rosters unless we use the in game league system. Not positive, but I'm fairly certain it auto loads rosters for standard online play. It's ok, tho...I just wanted a trade, i don't suppose I need it really ;p And yeah, i'm sure the phins are rough...I'm using the Saints for a challenge, the skins are just too stacked this year. Not that the Saints are bad, just their pass defense....and madden almost always makes the right read...Well i'm off to play some more. Later Oh quick question. Any idea why LeagueDaddy is showing me as the owner of the Cowboys? Not that I really mind lol

im 8-4 on Pro and i have cheated with the EA rewind once or twice now playing human competition is much different...easier because cpu AI doesnt know the exact place to throw it... throwing seems easy running seems hard.. its like i said in my topic...this comes down more to play calling rather than user control
ALL pro an as for using different roster...u can do it in an unranked game just save a team that u modified

I would say All Pro gives a little more to the player and takes away from the computer, which is a good thing in my opinion, so my vote goes for all Pro.
Commish, I still need the League Daddy Password as well.
Just a thought, what if you ran the league using the Madden system in combination with the League Daddy system? That way you could do the trade in the game, and simply have to do the League Daddy trade afterwards?

The way the leagueplay on Madden is set up...there is really no way to do a realistic league schedule using it...
But...we are floating the idea of making trades allowed....from what i have heard, you can change your roster and use it online in unranked games. If anyone has seen different, let me know.

So how's the game on PS3? Is it better to play allpro than allmadden when going H2H? How's the game compared to 2008 on PS2 b/c 2009 on PS2 is pretty similar to last year's version.

09 is way different on PS3. All-pro is closer to all madden on the ps2 version.
I am really enjoying the game right now...first time in awhile. But its got a learning curve...

Yes, It's hands down the best madden i've played in years. I'd say All-pro is the way to go for this league, people just play not to lose on all-madden. Btw are we playing ranked or unranked games. I don't care about rank, but would be nice for the stats email Figured i'd ask, i read the rules from last season but they didn't say. and what do u think of the rams slogan this year? "Feel the Bulge!" I may write up some off the field antics in league news if things go badly. Be forewarned. ps why are all the smileys backwards on these forums. I want happy i get sleeping and vice versa
