Hey guys! I know it`s been awhile since I`ve been around. With the draft underway I thought there would be all kinds of posts. I hope the league is still going strong.
Good luck!

Good to see the name pop up. Hope you and the family are well. Kind of been a while for me too, but do check in every now and then.

Hey PTR, glad to see the boards are active again with the new Madden. A little bit of unfortunate news, my 360 got the "red rings of death" last night. Second time I might add. I can say my PS2 never gave me any problems. I`m actually considering going back to Sony. Who knows, perhaps there might be room for me in the league somewhere down the road?
I still have to get over the shock of losing my 360. It`s like breaking up with a girlfriend. The first couple days you`re in a daze!

Yeah, My Xbox 360 Elite finally shot craps with the ring of death. Luckily all my PS3's still work besides the one my kid killed the disc drive on. PS3 I tihnk more of a home entertainment device that just happens to play video games too. The Blu Ray/DVD player alone is worth the value to me. LEt alone if you want to store any music or photos or stream Netflix for free with your Netflix account. Not a bad system.
I do have to say though slowly over the years I'm kinda getting burnt out on video games. I enjoy going out and playing real activities like softball and stuff. But at least the video games give me an alternative in the winter. lol

As with any new Madden, it's a new year, but "most" new years from EA have been a plus. right now, I'm enjoying playing the game. the AI seems to be in most areas better although there are certain instances that need addressing. With the new influx of EA personnel changes, maybe they are on the right course. we will see! But, it certainly would be great to see a "gentleman" of the old guard back in a reunion, so to speak. ;D

I`m finding it very difficult to pull the trigger on another xbox with all the issues they have with the "ring of death". And the PS3 just doesn`t seem like it has enough games I like for me to buy it. I have to agree with Beast, the outdoor activities are more enjoyable than sitting around playing a game. There are times though when I miss the camaraderie of the boards and the friendly competition of a game.
Hopefully you guys will be around by the time I make up mind!

Yeah, but the last few years of them putting out a crappy product have kinda killed the comraderie on the boards. That goes for all the leagues I'm still a part of. I'd like to see some of it come back, but once people break away it's hard to want to go back...
