Thanks, Zap. Right now the jury is still out and I'm not so sure I nor any of our witnesses have convinced any of the jurors of a not guilty verdict.
The Judge's possible jury instructions to find the rule as follows:
1) Guilty and the rule is upheld
*without prejudice.
2) Guilty with Aggravated Intent and placed on
*probation; the rule is upheld, but amended to read..(as one of the jurors (Glad) leaked)........."the d-line can be spread but there shall be no manual manipulation (loop-d-loop) of any lineman, that is placed on the LOS."
3) Not Guilty; the rule is dismissed
*without prejudice.
*Probation period: Unlimited.
*Dismissed/Upheld without prejudice; the Judge reserves the right to revisit this issue at any time should terms of probation are violated.
Right now, I, and I'm sure witnesses for dismissal would agree, that a finding for verdict #3 would suffice, but verdict #2 would be an amiable solution for most.
