Every year, no matter how many improvements are made to Madden NFL, cheeser's and Cheaters find a way to exploit the AI in the game so they can cheat there way to victory and high ranks.
This year, I’m sorry to say, is no different. The newest cheat cheeser’s have discovered and are using online has been labeled as the “Slow-Motion Glitch”.

This year, I’m sorry to say, is no different. The newest cheat cheeser’s have discovered and are using online has been labeled as the “Slow-Motion Glitch”.
What is the “Slow-Motion Glitch”?
The “Slow-Motion Glitch is a method by which your opponent can cause your Defense to move as though they’re running through Mud while the Offense moves like normal. Yet, what is really happening is that your Opponent is sapping the FATIGUE of your entire Defense! This is why they are running as though they are stuck in mud - cause they're dog tried! So by using this method, cheeser’s are able to slow down YOUR defense and take advantage of this by throwing long balls downfield to WIDE OPEN receivers!
How do they activate the glitch and how can I tell if my opponent is doing this to me?
I am not going to say HOW it is done but it can be done immediately after the break of the Huddle. The way you can spot the glitch is by watching how the offense comes out of the huddle. If they are moving slowly – slower than usual and taking forever to get to the LOS – then your opponent is hitting you with the glitch. And the more they do it the more tried your Defense becomes! This method can even be done from the LOS - which is harder to spot - but all you need to do is keep your eye on the QB. If he appears to be doing multiple audibles - then chances are good your opponent is trying to use the glitch.
Is there a way to counter the “Slow-Motion Glitch”?
Thankfully, Yes, there is a way to counter this glitch. All you need to do is reset your Defense a few times (though I understand that just resetting your Defense ONCE before the snap counters the glitch) quickly before they snap the ball off. So you can reset your Defense before they line up at the LOS or call an entirely new defense (which should be as good as you resetting your defense).
The downside is that you may not have time to make any Defensive adjustments via the Defensive Playmaker. But at least your Defensive player’s wont be moving like they all have a attribute of 10 Speed!
Another solution, from EA Sports, is to turn off the "Fatigue" for any online games. Ofcourse that would mean that the game would be a UNRANKED game. EA Sports has also announced that FATIGUE will be turned "OFF" for all Madden Challenges across the country!
