Personally, I am now of the opinion that SAPML should change the rule from All Pro to All Madden. While stating the above, I must add that AM will not be the answer. True, some of the issues with AP that have already been discussed here will be some-what resolved, but IMO, AM will only bring to light some others, i.e., an overload of dropped passes; an overload of interceptions for TDs; an overload of mediocre DBs playing above their level, chasing down a WR that is faster; and/or is 5' 10" sky-hooking INTs with 83 jump rating. Not every time but enough to make you wonder and shake your head in disbelief. The good owners able to secure good teams will get "richer" and the bad owners with bad teams will get "poorer." For what I can tell, you truly will be at the mercy of Tiburon and their selective roster ratings, and this next and last roster of the season will decipher whether some with no team allegiance will stay in the league or "go" or have already "gone." That does not apply to all who have left, and those not confirmed as staying as yet. But having a "good" rated team with will be tantamount to average or below average owners, IMO. And there are just so many of those type of teams to go around as you can tell online where everybody only uses a hand full of teams.I only started playing Madden online in 2003 when SAPML was formed, and I must say this current game is probably the most disappointing. And '07 for the PS3 is even worse. Now that EA has their in-house labor problems solved, they will get back to producing a better product. '08 may be better in August this year, but I don't see another good version until Madden '09. I will stick by my position of trying AM this second season of '07, but I truly believe that AI issues will remain at the end of the trial run, they will just be AM issues and not AP. But then there will always be issues with Madden, lol.

The final roster updates always bring the players off of IR. So McNabb would be back. The Raiders would have Lamont Jordan again etc etc.

Really? I don't recall that happening last season. Of Course, I used Green Bay the second season so that may be the reason I don't remember. Even though, I'm not sure that would make things better or worse, lol. Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken they bring everyone off of IR.

Commish, Admin and Rules Committee, any chance that All-Madden could be the mode for the second season? I know that defensive AI and some other issues were in both modes early, but after patch #2, the defensive AI is much better in All-Madden, IMO, and seems to be the way to go now. At least the AM defenders make an effort to cover. Seems that in AP they have a habit of just standing and watching the recievers run right by without much of an effort to cover, exactly as they were doing in AM pre-patch #2. Defensive line play AI is much better as well. What could be the harm? Just a thought.......not trying to upset anyone. Hell, if you haven't tried AM on the PS3 post-Patch#2, now might be the time to run it over 16 games. Also, any chance that a league rule can be put in place that those silly arcade-like weapon icons must be off in league games? Just a thought.

Everyone has their own opinion with the All madden or All pro discussion and my choice is All-pro and that is one of the reasons I chose to join the league because of the fact it was run with ALL Pro settings. IMO, the settings on all-pro are way more realistic that anything you could get on all madden. I just dont enjoy playing all madden with every team having super defense, QB's throwing tons of picks, etc... Just makes the game un-enjoyable. Just my 2 cents.

Just my 2 cents. agreed, i doubt i'd bother playing all madden level vs. humans again. The computer does such a good job playing the run that blitzing is pointless. So it boils down to an interception duel, most games teams were around 10 ppg. People play soft enough on allpro, they don't need encouragement.

All Madden is the best for all the real Madden players,,,,im new here not even in the league yet but i think that All Madden is the way to go because its more of a SIM feel all the players play to their ablities,,,
